Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, recording artist and entrepreneur. She received many accolades during her professional career. In addition, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis played in numerous TV shows such as Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she played the Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. The actress was also host of It's Showtime the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Anne Curtis, born on 17th February 1985 in Australia and Philippine, is an actress TV presenter entrepreneur recording artist. There have been a variety of accolades in her profession. Two FAMAS Awards have been given to her, along with has the Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. In addition, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Films. Curtis starred several television shows including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, Curtis portrayed legendary Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009 to 2020. Curtis was born a Filipina in Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian lawyer, James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father married Ojales in 1982. Jasmine, Jasmine's younger sibling is also an actor. Clare died of an illness of the heart in 2007, when she was barely 4 months old.
